When it comes to video games, we usually see these odd things as limited-time game modes, fake announcements, or some funny skins! For Overwatch, April Fools Day comes with googly eyes for characters!
Why Do Overwatch Characters Have Googly Eyes?
Every year on April Fools Day, Overwatch characters wear googly eyes, which is pretty normal for the old-timers of the game, but if you are new, you are surely surprised by what you’re seeing in the game at the moment.
Along with googly eyes, however, Blizzard has provided the opportunity for Overwatch players to grab some of the most popular skins of the characters since its launch, becoming available on April 5 in the first phase of the Anniversary Remix.
Overwatch is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
Overwatch 2 is still in development, but there is no official info on when we can expect it to release. Fans hope with the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft, they could speed up the ongoing projects at the company. Recently, registration for the beta version of Overwatch 2 has been announced, which raised hopes for getting more details about the game later this year.
