WWE was on the receiving end of ultimate success as they held one of the biggest premium live events of the year, Crown Jewel, in Saudi Arabia. The star-studded show featured almost everything needed for a spectacle. However, one unusual thing that happened was WWE canceling the press conferences for the event.
As per BWE via Ringside News, it was first reported that WWE would not have any press conferences for the show. Further, the insider account elucidated the situation, revealing that the location for the event was not ready for any kind of conference. That became the reason why the company could not do any pre or post-show press conference.
“Unfortunately, no pre or post. Location not ready to host conferences.”BWE on Crown Jewel press conference
It was unusual at the end of WWE not to hold any press conferences for the show. They have been holding the special presentation after every premium live event. Moreover, WWE has even held a press conference prior to the show and one after the show during the Saudi Arabia spectacles.
Triple H is usually in support of these press conference as it provides a professionalism to the sports entertainment. The premium live events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are mega shows for the company. Therefore, WWE books major matches for the event. It will be safe to say that the company treats Saudi shows like WrestleMania.
Unable to hold any press conference will certainly be a point of regret for Triple H. It is going to be interesting to see if the same problem arises the next time WWE heads to Saudi Arabia.
Upcoming premium live events after Crown Jewel 2023
After the immense success of Crown Jewel 2023, WWE plans to enhance their consistency at international events. WWE held international events from all over the world, such as Puerto Rico for Backlash and the United Kingdom for Money in the Bank. The scene is going to be the same, as WWE will have multiple events internationally next year.
As of now, two international events are official for 2024. WWE will be heading to Australia for the Elimination Chamber next year. Moreover, they will be making history as the company is all set to have a premium live event called Bash in Berlin in Germany next year. In addition to that, regular Saudi shows are going to be the highlight for the rest of the year.
As per some rumors, the Stamford-based promotion will have a premium live event in France as well in 2024. Although it is not official yet, it is going to be interesting to see WWE’s international extravaganza next year. As WWE puts a great deal of effort into the buildup to these shows, in essence, they are a delightful event for the fans as well.
