NEW CASTLE, Ind. (AP) - There's a yard sale today on State Road 38, and would-be customers will have a hard time missing it.
It's 50 miles long.
It's the Second Annual State Road 38 Yard Sale. It stretches for 50 miles along the highway, east from Noblesville, north of Indianapolis, through Pendleton and New Castle to Hagerstown in Wayne County.
The sale started this morning and closes at six p-m. The sale runs from one p-m to five p-m tomorrow.
The sale was the idea of Pendleton business woman Sandy Ogle.
Households, civic organizations, flea markets and businesses all are expected to participate.
